- Cross-Microsoft integration. Reference a Word doc, an Excel sheet, or a Teams conversation directly in your email draft.

Zero-friction Outlook integration
Just like Gemini owns Gmail, Copilot owns Outlook. If your entire workflow is inside Outlook, Copilot is a genuine efficiency multiplier. No context-switching, no separate app, no copy-paste.
Deep Microsoft 365 stack integration
Emailing about a Word document? Copilot reads it. Discussing a spreadsheet? Copilot reads that too. This cross-app awareness is genuinely powerful for teams living inside the Microsoft suite.
Enterprise compliance stack
Microsoft has the most mature enterprise compliance story — data residency, DLP, retention policies, audit logging. For regulated UK sectors (financial services, healthcare, legal, public sector), Copilot’s compliance posture is often what compliance teams sign off on fastest.

Writing quality: fine, not exceptional
Copilot’s draft quality is serviceable. Claude tends to produce warmer, more human first drafts for UK business writing. Not a huge gap but noticeable in blind comparisons.
Voice guides / persistent style
Copilot doesn’t have Claude Projects or ChatGPT Custom GPTs equivalent. Style consistency across a team is harder to maintain.
