Less time on paperwork. More time on patient care. HIPAA-aware workflows for medical practices, clinics, and health systems.
Sound familiar?
These are the bottlenecks we hear from medical practices, clinics, and health systems every week — from New York to Los Angeles, Chicago to Houston.
Use Cases
Real workflows. Real time savings. All achievable in the first week — and designed to work alongside your EHR (Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Allscripts) and practice management stack.
Appointment reminders, follow-up letters, treatment information sheets — professional, clear, and consistent every time. Pairs with Luma Health, Phreesia, Weave, or Zocdoc workflows.
Give Claude the key clinical points (de-identified). It drafts a structured summary for referral, discharge, or internal handover — ready to drop into the EHR after clinician review.
Brief Claude on your HIPAA Privacy Rule, Security Rule, OSHA, and state-level requirements. It drafts comprehensive documents you can review and approve.
Create onboarding guides, continuing medical education (CME) materials, and procedure walkthroughs from your clinical expertise and notes.
Accreditation prep documents, quality improvement summaries, and state health department reporting — structured and professional from your data.
Draft appeal letters, prior-authorization narratives, and payor correspondence that reference CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes clearly. Works alongside Kareo, DrChrono, and your clearinghouse.
We work with practice managers, clinic administrators, healthcare consultants, and operational leads across medical practices, dental practices, physical therapy clinics, veterinary practices, and allied health businesses — from solo PCPs in Boston to multi-site groups in Dallas, Atlanta, and San Francisco.
Example Prompt
Copy, adapt, and use immediately. This is the kind of prompt you'll build in your first session with Claudable's course.
Draft a patient information letter about:
Topic: [procedure/treatment/service change]
Key information the patient needs: [list]
Any preparation required: [list or 'none']
Next steps for the patient: [list]
Contact details for questions: [phone/email]
Tone: warm, reassuring, clear. Avoid jargon — write for a general audience.
Reading level: accessible to all adults (aim for 6th–8th grade reading level).
Maximum 250 words.
Include a clear subject line.
Do NOT include any PHI (names, DOB, MRN, insurance ID) — use placeholders only. The Claudable course includes ready-to-use prompt templates for every use case above, with guidance on how to adapt them for your specific workflows — and on how to keep PHI out of any AI tool that isn't covered by a signed BAA.

Is it safe to use AI with patient-related information (PHI)?
HIPAA requires a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with any vendor that handles Protected Health Information (PHI). Standard Claude plans may not be HIPAA-compliant — practices should confirm HIPAA/BAA status directly with Anthropic (typically via Claude Enterprise) before using Claude with any identifiable patient data. In the meantime, never paste PHI into any AI tool: use de-identified references, remove names, DOBs, MRNs, and insurance IDs, and focus Claude on drafting templates and general communications rather than individual patient records.
Can Claude help with regulated healthcare documentation?
Claude can draft policy documents, patient information materials, and administrative content — including drafts for Joint Commission accreditation prep, HIPAA Privacy/Security Rule policies, OSHA documentation, and state health department reporting. All clinical and regulated documentation must be reviewed and approved by an appropriately qualified professional. Claude accelerates the drafting — your clinical team ensures the accuracy.
Is this relevant for non-clinical healthcare staff?
Absolutely. Practice managers, front-desk teams, billers, and admin staff often see the largest time savings — patient communications, appointment management, prior-authorization letters, payor appeals, and policy documentation are all high-volume, repetitive writing tasks that Claude handles efficiently.
How does Claudable training work for healthcare teams?
Our self-paced course covers all core use cases with prompts adaptable to healthcare workflows. Individual access is $149, team access (up to 5) is $349. Our implementation service builds practice-specific templates and workflows from $2,000.
